I live not far from Jerusalem, however as a busy, full time working mom I don't have the time to visit this amazing city as often as I would like! If I could I would drive to Jerusalem every day - even for just an hour or two! I love walking through the streets of Jerusalem, they say that the air in Jerusalem is special and I agree. My imagination runs wild when walking through the city. What was this city like during different periods of time? If only the stones could talk! What stories they would tell us!
I love having my Jerusalem Stone in my pocket for those times when I can not be in this remarkable city. Somehow it makes me feel that I am always there! What a great feeling. |

I received my special stone from a loving friend, the day before the Women’s Triathlon, which we organize each year in memory of our daughter, Tamar, who was killed 11 years ago, at the age of 21, riding her bicycle while training for a triathlon. What would I do with such a special stone? I brought it back home, to lay it on Tamar’s grave. Now it sits, in its soft case, under the burning heat and soon the cool rains and winds, a memory of friendship, caring and Jerusalem. |

No matter where I am in the world, Jerusalem is always with me, not only in my heart, but I now can hold a piece of the amazing city in my hand! |

I brought home the Jerusalem Stone and my nine-year-old daughter was enthralled. She insisted on holding it, placing it in its soft carrying bag, and keeping it with her every day in her school back pack. The Stone is an incomparable gift. |
